The Two Final Battles Before Judgment

The two major battles surrounding the 1,000-year reign of Christ (the Millennium) are the Battle of Armageddon (before) and the Battle of Gog and Magog (after). Armageddon marks the end of human rebellion and the start of Christ's reign, while the final battle occurs after Satan is released to test humanity once more. 

Timing:

• Armageddon: Occurs at the end of the 7-year Tribulation, the governments (humanity & demons) rise to fight Jesus Christ (Revelation 16:16). Satan is casted into the abyss for 1,000 years.

• Gog/Magog (Revelation 20): A separate, final rebellion occurring after the 1,000-year Millennium, Satan is freed from the abyss and where the finalization of humanity is brought before judgment. Satan/demons are thrown into the Lake of Fire.

• 1. The Battle of Armageddon (Before the 1,000 Years).

• Blessed are they who have part in the first resurrection.

• There is no “magical rapture until The Battle of Armageddon” (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

• Context: Described in Revelation 16:16 and Revelation 19:11-21, this battle occurs immediately before the Millennium, as Jesus returns to Earth.

• The Combatants: The nations, led by the Antichrist (the Beast) and the False Prophet, assemble to fight against Jesus Christ, who arrives with the armies of heaven.

• The Outcome: The Battle of Armageddon is actually a slaughter rather than a conventional battle, where Jesus defeats the armies with the "sword of his mouth". The Antichrist and the False Prophet are thrown into the lake of fire, and Satan is bound in the abyss for 1,000 years. A vile, and holy awful place of the greatest torment!

2. The Battle of Gog and Magog (After the 1,000 Years)

• Context: Found in Revelation 20:7-10, this battle happens at the very end of the 1,000-year reign, after Satan is released from his imprisonment. Yes, while the 1,000-year reign of Christ (the Millennium) features peace and the binding of Satan ,some wickedness or sin will still be present on earth. Although the initial population consists of righteous believers, people born during this time will still have a sinful nature and must choose to follow Christ.

• The Combatants: Satan is released and goes out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, gathering an army likened to "the sand on the seashore" to rebel and fight against God.

• The Outcome: This army marches to surround the "camp of God's people, the city he loves," but fire comes down from heaven and consumes them. Following this final rebellion, the devil is thrown into the lake of sulfur forever, followed by the Final White Throne Judgment. What a sight to behold, amen and amen. (Revelation 20:12-15) The wicked will never see the face of God! The books in life and the Book of Life are in God’s court’s. Every knee will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen and amen.

  Those who are sleeping in Christ (died in Christ) will rise first and those who remain on the earth will be caught up to meet Christ in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) The saved will reign with Christ on the Earth for 1,000 years. Again, those Christians that remain throughout the Great Tribulation, will be caught up to those who were sleeping in Jesus Christ; they will meet in the air. Hallelujah, Blessed are they who have part in the first resurrection.

  Those who are not in Christ but children of condemnation will remain in their graves until the reign of Christ on the earth is complete, 1000 years. All knees will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen and amen.

  All believers who have died in Christ will rest until the return of Christ! We must remember that we are judged according to our faith, faith practices and deeds, the deeds and reward will follow the believer into eternity! Are you willing to die for Jesus Christ, such as the apostles?

  After Christ was given the keys to life and death, death became dust, a place of void, under Gods command.Those who are condemned in Christ are in no state until the second resurrection! The condemned will rise at the second resurrection to do battle at Armageddon (Har-Megiddo)! This will happen after the 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ on the earth that will pass away with judgment!

  There is no magical rapture that is being taught in the church’s. When Christ returns those who are remaining will be caught up! Cowards are not welcomed in heaven! The Bible makes it clear that many false anti-Christs will come in the name of Jesus Christ and will try to deceive the elect (Matthew 24:24). We must pick up our cross, even as the world will hate the Christian and carry our cross with faith, completely trusting and relying on God, through Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
