(More tomorrow, remember the last word today, sacrifice.)

Today’s date: September 27, 2026

It’s a new day and that statement is my thesis. Today, I have to wonder about self reflection and motivation, including offloading and cursing politics that are beyond my control. The brain is a powerful entity all by itself and that  includes the separation of will power and above that, the living God and his creation. The foundation to any element requires energy and in that energy, choices. I want to embellish on energy, choices and perspectives, and at the same time, the exercising of faith and a notion.

Have you ever heard this saying: “It’s not time”? To me, that phrase, “it’s not time” is comparing God to Santa Claus. I can hear the truth all day long and it still doesn’t mean squat to me. I am pleased to announce, that after my mother passed away, I have learned much more about myself and unintentionally. I’ve read and heard that when a family member dies, so does some kind of bond. For me, after my mother died, I’ve become more of a quiet family and opposite of self seeking attention seeker. I was never sure about this statement, “it comes with age”. After my mother died, I don’t feel that need to compete with anyone because part of that need to be seen or heard has closure. God knows that I loved my mother and it’s okay that our relationship was like water and oil. Those are the most endearing words that my mother and I had together, but, when my mother was alive, I could randomly drop a bomb, just to prove my mother right. Today, I can admit it, I am a lot like my mother in many ways. I’ve always known that but never gave alms to it because of my eagerness to know the fullness of the truth. Testing the truth, that has caused great aches in my life and especially when I find within myself to be the hypocrite. The later consequences of hiding behind a stained glass curtain, but not until death has plucked off some of the weight. One of my greatest problems early on was spontaneity and monitoring cynicism as some kind of surprise. Today, undoing or changing old behavior patterns and thinking patterns requires being alone. God at work, really, and still, sacrifice.
