LIABLE Act (Let Injured Americans Be Legally Empowered) QUESTION: Why is Kennedy the director of HHS? Are we waiting for the House or Senate (or both) to flip before this bill gets passed? This allows me fighting arms in litigation. Missouri and Mississippi have litigation pending.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused widespread, lasting damage to global economies and personal livelihoods, leading to significant hardship
. As of 2025, several U.S. states have initiated legal action to hold China accountable for these damages.
Judgments and Lawsuits: In March 2025, a U.S. federal court in Missouri entered a default judgment of over $24 billion against China and several Chinese entities, citing their role in the pandemic and alleging a hoarding of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Attempts to Collect Assets: Missouri officials announced plans to work with the U.S. federal government to seize Chinese-owned assets, including potential farmland, to enforce this judgment. A similar $25 billion judgment was entered by a Mississippi federal court in November 2025, bringing the total in potential legal penalties to over $50 billion.
China’s Response: The Chinese government has rejected these rulings, calling them "malicious frivolous lawsuits" and asserting that their actions fall under national sovereignty and foreign sovereign immunity. China has vowed to retaliate against the seizure of assets.
Legal Challenges: Despite these judgments, enforcing them remains difficult. Foreign sovereign immunity generally prevents U.S. courts from seizing foreign assets, making the collection of these damages legally complex.
Investigation Findings: Investigations, such as that by The Heritage Foundation, have accused Chinese authorities of suppressing information and obscuring the origins of the virus.
The pandemic resulted in an estimated $18 trillion in losses in the United States alone.

The Diet. The premise that a low zinc status often coincides with deficiencies in iron and copper is supported by nutritional studies, and research suggests these deficiencies are linked to poorer outcomes with COVID-19. Low levels of zinc, copper, and iron can weaken the immune system, potentially making it easier for viruses to cause severe infection. In my blood tests, minerals were low and some depleted.

Link Between Deficiencies
Zinc and Iron: Zinc and iron often share common food sources (red meat, shellfish), and deficiencies in both are common in developing countries and among people with poor dietary intake.
Zinc and Copper: Zinc deficiency frequently coexists with other nutrient deficiencies, including iron and copper. However, it is important to note that excessive zinc supplementation can also cause a deficiency in copper, leading to a dangerous imbalance.
Iron Metabolism: Copper-dependent enzymes are necessary to transport iron in the body, meaning a lack of copper can cause a secondary iron deficiency.

Impact on COVID-19
Low Zinc: Studies show that COVID-19 patients with low serum zinc levels (hypozincemia) at admission have a higher risk of complications, including Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and higher mortality rates.
Low Iron: Low serum iron concentration is considered an independent risk factor for increased mortality in COVID-19 patients.
Low Copper/Zinc Combination: Combined deficiency of copper and zinc is associated with lower antibody production (IgG) to SARS-CoV-2 after vaccination.
Immune Response: Zinc deficiency impairs T-cell function and B-cell development, while also leading to increased inflammation (cytokine storms).
Nutrient Balance
Maintaining a balanced level of these trace metals is crucial. While deficiencies are harmful, over-supplementation of one (e.g., high-dose zinc) can induce a dangerous deficiency in another (e.g., copper), as the body may struggle to balance them. Zinc, Iron and Copper compete in the body, the best absorption is 2-3 hours before a meal and 2-3 hours apart. Think like this, morning (zinc), noon (iron) and night (copper). Be clear on your intakes, which includes your food! Find out your averages either in trials or a blood test. Long-Covid is manageable if not yet curable.
